Husky Haven of Florida is an organization 100% run by volunteers. If you'd like to help make a change, all you need is a little time and a lot of passion for this beautiful breed and rescue. Find out more ways to get involved below.
Transport
Helping us with transportation of the dogs - from shelters, vet appointments, to new homes and everything in between, this is another key part in helping our rescues within the Organization.
Photographer
A picture is worth a million words and many of the dogs need their personalities be captured by a talented photographer to help them catch an adopter’s eye. We need photographers all over the state.
Home checks
Before our dogs are adopted, a home check is required as yet another step to ensure the home is the best fit, as well as a safety precaution. We adopt all over the state, and are always looking for volunteers to conduct them.
Moving items
Have a truck and would like to volunteer? Sometimes we need crates and food to be moved from one place to another for our foster dogs. This is a huge help for our dogs!
Events/Fundraisers
We are always open to participate in events to spread the word about our organization. We welcome anyone interested in starting a fundraiser or helping us spread the word on us.
Groomer
Some huskies require a nice bath, some grooming, and also some TLC. Some are matted and come a little stinky. We need groomers that could help us looking sharp so that they can get adopted.
