Hi! My name is Layla, and I’m a 2-year-old beautiful, lean, active girl with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. ❤️
I absolutely love to play fetch, go on adventures, and be part of whatever my people are doing. I’m silly, sassy, and full of personality. Sometimes my foster mom says I’m like a teenager because I definitely have opinions—and I’m not afraid to tell you about them! I’m quite the talker, especially when I’m excited or playing.
I’m also a true social butterfly. I love playing with dogs of all sizes, and I enjoy being around children too. Small dogs, big dogs, little humans... I’m ready to make friends with everyone! I just love being surrounded by people and being part of the family.
And squirrels? Well... that’s another story. 😂 If I spot one, my inner Togo comes out, and I’m pretty sure I could chase that squirrel all the way to Alaska! So my future family will definitely need to keep a good hold of my leash when we’re out exploring.
My life wasn’t always this happy. Before coming to Husky Haven, I lived in a garage where it could get very hot. Because of that, I developed a habit of drinking water extremely fast whenever I had the chance. Sometimes I drink so quickly that I make myself sick. Husky Haven bought me a special water bowl to help slow me down, and my foster mom helps too by calling me away when I start gulping too much. I’m learning every day that water will always be there now, and I don’t have to rush anymore. ❤️
I’m potty trained, and at night I sleep nicely in my crate. But between you and me... if my forever family insisted that I sleep in bed with them, I’m pretty sure I could make that sacrifice. 😉
More than anything, I’m just a sweet girl who finally knows what it feels like to be loved, safe, and part of a family. Now I’m searching for the people who will make sure I never have to wonder where I belong again.
I have so much love, laughter, sass, and adventure waiting to give.
