Hi, I’m Suka, and I’m an 8-year-old gentleman looking for a soft place to land and a family to love. ❤️

I can be a little shy when we first meet, so I may need a minute to decide you’re one of the good ones. But once I feel comfortable, you’ll discover what my foster family already knows: I’m an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who loves just about everyone.

Dogs? Absolutely.
Kids? Yep!
Cats? Believe it or not, them too! 🐱

I’ll give a kitty a couple of polite sniffs to introduce myself, and then I’m perfectly happy to share my world with them. I’m a lover, not a troublemaker.

One of my favorite things is going for walks, and I’m quite the gentleman on a leash. Occasionally my nose finds something very important that requires further investigation, but a gentle reminder gets me moving again. I also never pass up an opportunity to go outside and soak up a little sunshine. ☀️

At home, I’m completely housebroken and well past the puppy shenanigans. I don't particularly enjoy being in a crate, but the good news is I really don't need one. What I do need is companionship. I can get anxious when my people leave, so I’d be happiest with another dog to keep me company or with someone who is home much of the day. Honestly, having a canine sibling sounds pretty wonderful to me. 🐾

And when my people are home? That's when I'm happiest. I don't need to be the center of attention or have you entertain me all day. I just want to be near you. Give me a spot beside you on the couch and I’m content. Invite me to cuddle up in bed and I’ll happily accept. ❤️

I may be eight, but that just means I already know what matters: a good walk, a warm patch of sunshine, a comfy place to sleep, a friend nearby, and people to call my own.
