Hi, I’m Luna… and I’m ready to finally find my forever home.

I’m about 4 years old, though the truth is, I’ve lived a lot of life in those years. Some of it was confusing, some of it lonely… but I’ve never stopped believing that there’s a family out there who is meant for me. A family I can love with my whole heart.

I’m a house-broken, crate-trained girl who really just wants to be close to the people who make me feel safe. I’m great with other dogs, I’m gentle and patient with kids, and—even though I’m a Husky—I’m also good with cats. I guess you could say my heart is a little bigger than my breed’s reputation.

When I walk on a leash, I get a little excited and might pull, but I’m easily redirected. I just love the world so much—every smell, every breeze, every new face. I’m learning, though. I want to do my best for you.

If I’m off leash… well, sometimes my adventurous side takes over, and I forget to stay close. I don’t mean to run—I just follow wherever my curiosity pulls me. With patience, training, and someone who understands me, I know I can learn to stay right by your side.

People say my best qualities are that I’m affectionate, extremely social, and honestly… a little goofy. I love to love. I love to cuddle. I love to make you laugh. I love when someone looks at me like I matter.

But what makes me truly special—what everyone who meets me notices right away—is how deeply I want to be loved… and how gently I give that love back, especially around children. I seem to understand when little ones need soft paws, quiet moments, and a calm heart. I think it’s because I know what it feels like to need comfort too.

I’m ready now. Ready to belong. Ready to be someone’s “welcome home.” Ready to give everything I have to a family who will never let me go.
