Meet Mila 🤍

Hello, future family! My name is Mila, and I'm a beautiful 2-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart that's every bit as beautiful as I am. If you're looking for a best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side, I think we've been waiting for each other.

People are my favorite. Whether we've known each other for years or just met five minutes ago, I'm always ready to make a new friend. My love language is simple: belly rubs, cuddles, and being as close to you as possible. In fact, if you'll let me, I'd be perfectly happy being picked up and snuggled like I'm still a little puppy.

Inside the house, I'm calm, gentle, and easy to live with. I love relaxing with my people after a nice walk, and I'm wonderful on a leash. One of the funniest things about me? While other Huskies are busy plotting how to chase every squirrel, bird, or lizard they see, I just keep walking like, "No thanks... I'm spending time with my human."

I'm a smart girl, too! I know sit, shake, down, stay, come, kennel, and potty, and I'm even learning how to speak. I'm completely potty trained, will let you know when I need to go outside, and happily go into my crate when you say, "kennel." I've also mastered condo living, so elevators, stairs, and shared spaces don't bother me one bit.

I enjoy the company of other dogs and can happily live with one, especially if we're introduced slowly so we can become friends at our own pace. I'd also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only princess.

Like all of us, I'm not perfect—but I'm trying my best every day. I have a little resource guarding with certain high-value treats, and sometimes I can be a bit reactive on leash. My foster family has also discovered that if you're home and I'm in my kennel, I might let out a few dramatic Husky opinions because I'd much rather be hanging out with you. After all, why should we be in separate rooms when we could be together? And yes... every now and then, when training gets challenging, my Husky sass makes a guest appearance. I may pretend I suddenly forgot what you asked me to do... but don't worry, I'm smarter than I let on.

We don't know yet how I feel about cats or young children, but what we do know is that I have a heart overflowing with love and a gentle spirit that's ready to find the family I've been dreaming of.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with happy eyes, lean in for endless belly rubs, and remind you every single day how wonderful unconditional love can be, then I just might be your girl.

I can't wait to meet you.
