zoey
Hello hoomans!
My name is Zoey—but my foster family calls me ZoZo, and I kind of love it. I’m a petite little lady who was found running the streets and landed in a shelter, until Husky Haven scooped me up and placed me in a wonderful foster home. I am a year and a half and only 40 pounds. I’m petite or shall we call fun size.
I adore my foster family. There are little kids and other dogs to play with, and I’m learning so much from them every day. Foster mom thinks I may have never lived inside a house before, so everything is new to me—but wow, I sure am enjoying this thing called “home life!”
Some of my favorite games? Grabbing shoes and socks (such fun toys!) and hiding them for a little game of seek-and-find. I also love balls and happily share toys and food with my foster siblings. Foster mom keeps the treats flowing, and I’m quickly learning that listening earns me the good stuff. I’ve mastered taking treats gently and I’m working hard on “sit.” (Apparently, jumping doesn’t count as a trick—who knew?)
At night, I sleep in my crate, though I’d much rather be near my people and pup pals. Foster mom calls me a little Houdini because I’ve figured out a few escape tricks, but I’m not destructive when left out—I just want to be close. Potty training is still a work in progress, and I sometimes have accidents if no one’s watching, but I’m improving every day.
I’m mostly a quiet, calm girl, but I do love a good debate (howls included!) and zoomies with my foster sister.
I know my perfect furever family is out there, and I hope it’s you. I’m the sweetest little package—playful, loving, and loyal. With a little patience and a lot of love, I promise to fill your life with joy and unforgettable memories.
