Sandy
Hi there! My name is Sandy, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family! My story started on a scary note—I was found standing in the middle of a highway—but thanks to some amazing people, I’m safe, loved, and ready for my next adventure.
I’m an affectionate, easygoing guy who loves to make people smile. Here are a few fun facts about me:
I give the best kisses (sometimes with little chin nibbles for extra love!).
I like to carry my toys around and roll on my back in the grass.
When I eat, I use my tongue like I’m drinking water—my foster says it’s pretty cute.
I’ll happily lay my head on your lap for snuggles and attention.
I’m housebroken, great with kids, and I LOVE other dogs, big and small! Crates aren’t really my thing—I prefer my comfy dog bed. I also walk nicely on a leash with my harness and would make a great jogging buddy. I know “sit” and “come,” and while I might jump when I’m really excited, I stop when you tell me.
My one quirk: my vision isn’t perfect. It’s mostly fine, but if you come straight at me, I might look surprised because I see better from the sides. Don’t worry, I’m gentle and never react badly—it just makes me even more unique!
I haven’t met cats yet, so I’m looking for a home without them or with someone willing to take introductions slow. What I really want is room to roam, people to love, toys to play with, and a cozy spot in front of a fan (it’s my favorite!).
If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, loving dog who will be your best friend for life, that’s me! I’m ready to make your life happier!
