Hi there, my name is Sora, and I’m a 10-year-old Siberian Husky with a big heart and a second chance at life. Not too long ago, I was found as a stray, barely hanging on after suffering from heatstroke. Things were scary for a while, but thanks to some very kind people and Husky Haven of Florida, I’m safe, healthy, and ready to find my forever home.

I’m housebroken, crate trained, and walk beautifully on a leash. I’ve even been around a bunch of little dogs and didn’t react at all—though I haven’t been tested with kids or cats just yet. I tend to ignore squirrels, so maybe cats won’t be too interesting either, but I’ll let you decide.

Most of the time, I’m a low-maintenance, easygoing guy who loves to cuddle and relax. I may be older, but don’t let that fool you—I still get a little frisky when the cool air hits or when nature calls (hey, a guy’s gotta celebrate a good potty walk, right? lol). If the weather is nice, I could walk with you forever.

One of my cutest quirks? I’ll lead you right to what I want—and if you’re not catching on, I’ll give you a soft little “awwhhooo” to clue you in. I’m not a talkative or barky Husky, just smart and sweet. I’m still figuring out toys—stuffies didn’t last long with me, but now I cuddle my tough-to-destroy toy like it’s my buddy.

I have a great appetite (okay, I’m working on not begging so much), and most importantly, I’m up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to be neutered soon.

I may not be your typical high-energy Husky, but I have so much love, loyalty, and sweetness to give. I’m looking for a family who wants a calm, smart, affectionate companion to share their days with.
